The construction of the trailer was primarily made of structural tubing and plate steel welded together. The design also included a torsion axle system to help minimimze bouncing. The torsion axle system was bolted onto a steel plate, which was in turn welded onto the frame tubing.

Construction of the trailer involved careful measurement and location of the tubing that supported the axle stubs and significant time dedicated to welding preparation and welding itself. This careful measurement was required to ensure proper weight distribution of the afore-mentioned 10-15% of the weight onto the hitch.

The ball-hitch coupler was bolted onto the frame through holes drilled through the tongue section of the frame.

After the trailer was fully welded and assembled, it was given a thorough degreasing and was given a coat of primer in preparation for painting.
